It's early days, but what are your thoughts on the season so far?

I'm quite bored to be honest so far, it's been quite a dull start. The 'pretty boys' are vile too.

I like it so far, way too early to decide for sure.

BBCan almost always has a fairly slow start to be fair. The first week is horribly rushed and can make it difficult to get a pulse on the house until the end of the second week.

My concern is that I don't really think there are any big characters. They're all likeable and/or charismatic people but there is nobody on the level or say, Gary, Talla, Karen, Adel, Nikki etc.

That being said I'm optimistic about this house divide and I see potential in the season as a whole. It's just up to production to use the tools they're given in the right way.

I don't mind it. Could be better but it's not unwatchable. At least there is already divides rather then unanimous votes every week.

I gotta agree, BBCAN seems to have fewer and fewer unique big-time characters these days

I still like a bunch of people they cast in the past 2 years for example but like they just don't POP as much individually and kinda have more of a "vanilla"? "blended" feel I guess.. Idk if vanilla is the right word exactly because they're not necessarily basic people but they mesh together too much with no standouts and sort of try too hard in playing the game or creating a legacy without just letting it come naturally.

Like when you think of even just a few years ago... Nikki, Tim, Loveita, Dallas, Cassandra tbh, the Paqs bros, Joel, even the Third Wheel alliance, even someone like Maddy in her own right, etc. just create a spark in very natural ways and had more engaging character traits that pop in their own ways, good or bad. These last few newbie castings just seem like fans trying to replicate people or something idk. They might be likable or entertaining anyways but it's just not the same feel.

Also... BBUS 19 & 20 casting >>>>>> BBCAN 6 & 7 casting if you ask me (and the seasons have obviously been way better too as of now without fully seeing 7 tbf)

As I said, it's early in the season, but too early to judge. I can see it being up there with one of the greatest seasons, such as BBUS16 or BBCAN4. It may even be the best season of BB altogether.
