I mean... "Final Fantasy Versus 13" was announced in 2006 and came out as FF15 in 2016 so...


2 - 3 years is a fairly normal amount of time between announcement and release - unless a company is working on a big project in secret to do a "surprise drop", then it's usually about 6 - 9 months.

I'm convinced it's not going to live up to the original anyway. Just replay TLOU remastered.

I mean look at Uncharted. Original was good, Uncharted 2 was PERFECT... Uncharted 4 was uninspiring and Uncharted 3 was flat out boring.

So it's not just me who had issues with Uncharted 4 then? I normally feel like I'm on my own on that one as it always seems to be incredibly popular.

I liked Uncharted 3 though.

I found Uncharted 3 pretty boring from start to finish ... The levels were uninspired and the gameplay was an absolute mess - sometimes you had to shoot a completely unarmoured goon in the face 7 or 8 times with a shotgun for them to die. Just dumb.

4 was a bit better but too heavy on cutscenes over game content. 2 was easily the peak of the series, by a mile.

My worry I think with TLOU is that the game was damn near perfect and I'm not sure it even needed a sequel. We'll have to wait (now longer!) and see but I hope it lives up to the original...
