Yeah, I suppose the likes system and what not could be an issue, craving the conformation of your comments being accepted.

A bit like the award system for post count on here....people even make threads that are either congratulating someone for reaching a milestone or for the op reaching one.....i worry.........and care enough to make a stand.

I very much doubt people get carried away with trying to reach certain post counts on the forum.

If anything, a lot of people find shame in the their high post counts.

Explain threads that have no meaning yet the first five or so posts are a smiley....thats like taking crack imo...and it has been proved the same endorphines are triggered or hyjacked by both...

If you're talking about the likes of michael21 then I feel there is a condition at play. Not a desire for post counts.

Not to mention, most of those threads are chat and games rubbish, which don't count towards post counts.
