It's annoying that the Aussie public apparently are buying Erin's fake relationship with Eden. She literally chose him sight unseen, based on nothing more than a hunch that the producers would save a strong contestant for the last, and went on to make a huge show of how little respect she has for him. I have a tiny bit of hope that he will realize that he's just a prop in her quest to become famous and dump her, but this being a girls' show I doubt it will happen.
If John James hadn't quit, I think Millie would have come back to him after bolting on Elias. Too bad his confidence took such a hit.
I wonder if politics/gamesmanship came into play when deciding to vote out Millie's parking spot. She's probably Erin's biggest competition. Jaxon is no threat to anyone. I think that as soon as a guy is determined to be low-status, he's completely screwed. No woman will come in and attach herself to him, other than to stay on TV for a few episodes. Josh is a dead man walking for the same reason. Cassidy is in a similar position, except that Dom knows that if he feigns a bit of interest in her that she'll attach herself to him immediately and unwaveringly, guaranteeing him a safe spot for as long as he needs it.
What I don't understand is why a guy doesn't come in and "couple" with Erin, forcing Eden out if no other girl picks him. Hopefully that's what the new guy is going to try. If it doesn't work then I hope a girl takes Eden from Erin, although I think the other girls are scared to take her on.
The guys are a lot more masculine than the geldings I've seen on UK reality shows. I wonder if that has anything to do with how many UK viewers saying this is better than the British version?
