Why do you want to separate yourselves? We don't have women only sub forums, or Jews only sub forums (because there'd only be me and y.winter in there probably). I just don't understand when a section deservedly want to be an ordinary part of a multi-faceted society, and once that starts happening, you want to separate yourselves again.

I somewhat agree. Considering most of the members here are part of the LGBT community (this is the impression anyway), I'm not sure if it gains anything, as the discussions are already here spread across the relevant sub-forums. Arguing about trans woman or gay cakes will happen in SD as much as in an LGBT dedicated forum.
In general, I don't see a special reason to put it all in one specific box and give whatever that is a special treatment, but then again, it's how I see these things personally in my life about some parts of the LGBT community, maybe others don't feel the same.
