Roseanne Barr made an overtly racist comment out of nowhere. People aren't focusing on that Fonda twat because he isn't the story, the child abuse is and his views are as important to the subject at hand as any one Twitter troll's is which is to say, not at all. Roseanne's racism WAS the story, you can't compare the two. They are completely different and the comparison only works if you not only ignore the context but butcher it completely to fit the narrative you want to push.

Tough ****, being the creator of a thread with dozens of participants and hundreds of replies doesn't mean that you "own the thread" and can have it deleted at will. The forum would be an absolute mess if we were to start that nonsense.

It's different if someone makes a thread in one of the Chat forums on a personal topic and wants it deleted... but other than that... just no.

A mod should change the thread title back. TS is right. Parminion isn't the moderator of how this thread went. If a mod wants to close it for being off topic... then fine... but the OP shouldn't get to make that call

I actually thought the vBulletin software had safeguards against title changes... Like a certain time frame (a few hours) where the thread poster could change the thread title / a max number of posts in the thread when it could still be changed... And after that time it had to be a moderator on request

. Apparently not though as this thread has been going since yesterday and has 200+ replies. Maybe it's an optional feature.

I'm not sure if Trump is a fool or a genious,,...but when I heardy him the other day say seperate but equall.....I think he was well aware of what he was saying....very worring times ahead

Not to the degree I would like and I'm getting a bit frustrated with it. The media seem too concerned with stupid name calling and identity politics. He say some thing dodgy about Mexicans and they all call him racist, he insults a woman and they call him sexist, he calls Elizabeth Warren Pocahontas and they call his sexist and racist....meanwhile he's told in excess of twenty lies at a rally and they are not going into details and listing them. there is interpretation of the truth which most politicians practise regularly and there is outright lying which Trump practices multiple times each and every day. Trump is in a different league when it comes to lying
