So they got up and starting leave the table to then double back to where they were to kiss again?

Maybe Georgia's side of the story isn't so far-fetched and they asked them to reshoot it, the 2nd attempt was awkward so they thought they could run with that instead for more drama? It would also account for Wes saying he saw the kiss as in the other shot he would have had a clear view of it.
