There were several others, just didn’t bore them down sorry. Those for me were the stand outs others were average. However what I would say is they had greater talent in terms of the best auditionees.

Ayda Field though is a breath of fresh air! Love hearing a different perspective on the panel! No ego, just there to help contestants

I liked he panel as a whole though!

Yo dudes, finally ready to do my write-up for yesterday's show, I must say there was definitely some pretty interesting talent in the first session. It was mainly just boys and groups, but there were a few overs and girls too. Anyways here we go:

1:The Squirrels: Groups: Robbie Williams "Entertain You"-Essentially two dudes in drag, who I got the impression were very much a Jedward-like act in my opinion with not great voices, but the audience and judges quite clearly enjoyed the performance, with the judges commenting on this fact: 4 yeses.

2: Scott Wilks:Boys- I forgot the song he sung, but he had a very cabaret performance I thought, but good voice. Simon brought him up on how he seemed to focus too much on his looks, rather than singing and told him to return for today's show: To be continued.

3:The No-Labels: Groups- a boy-band that was formed over the internet 4 months ago. Their choreography and initial performance was just dreadful, and they were too focused on putting on a show, rather than their voices, so Simon asked them to sing a song without the backing, however that still didn't work, with Louis saying that they were doing the sort of thing he tried to avoid in 1 4 Nos

4:3-Piece: Groups: Original song- Three-Piece were a trio of black guys, who sung their own song in their audition, but the judges made comments on how their original song didn't quite work and said the audience wouldn't be able to connect with them, which resulted in a lot of boos. However Simon took pity on them and asked them to come back next week: To be Continued.

5:Archie: Boys- It initially looked like he would sing a typical pop-song, but he sang a very operatic song and was aiming for that sort of very deep and operatic voice: 4 Yeses

6:Claire: Overs: Original song (initially)- Claire came on stage and talked about how the music industry wasn't very accepting of different body-types as far as image went. At first she sung her own song, but was then asked to sing a different song after failing to impress with her original. The song she sung was "This is Me" from the Greatest Showman, which allowed the audience to really connect with her: 3 yeses, 1 no.

7:London Road: Groups- London Road were a very generic girl-band, made up of young girls and their performance was just that; generic. Robbie, Ayda and Louis all agreed that the girls were too young for the experience and said they should come back the next year, but Simon liked them and told them that they should record something else to impress the other 3 judges, next week at a recording studio, but did mention their generic style: To be determined.

8:Jodie: Girls- Jodie arrived on the stage, and revealed she had backing dancers before starting to sing. She had a fairly good job, but was trying to sell herself too much and look professional, with the judges once again mentioning how young she was and mentioning that she was trying to much to look good. Simon asked her to sing a song without the dancers and backing track, but in the end believed she'd be better in a girl-group: 4 Nos

9: Krissy: Overs: didn't catch the first song, but the second song was Writing on the Wall- She mentioned that she'd been fighting for this dream since she was 7 and wanted to bring something different. After her first song, Ayda brought her up on how she felt the song was dreary. Simon asked her to sing a second song, being Writing on the Wall. However she was till unable to impress Ayda, Robbie and Simon: 1 yes, 3 no's.

10: Thomas: Boys- Can't really remember too much about Thomas tbh, but I do know that he was asked to sit at the side of the stage to sing closer to the judges after failing to impress with his first performance- 3 yeses, 1 no

11: Ollie Swain: Boys- Ollie sung a medley of three songs on his guitar and impressed the judges- 3 yeses

12: Danny: Overs- Danny was revealed to be a contestant on Pop Idol seventeen years ago, who Simon rejected. He was arguably the stand-out performance of the night, and I describe his voice as a mix of Che Chesterman and Andrea Faustini's voice. Apparently Simon had told him to come back in a few years on Pop Idol. Most of the judges came up to him on-stage including Simon to apologize for his previous no- 4 yeses.
