For those of you who are unaware, Inside Edition is a very popular evening entertainment news show here in the US, watched by millions. Their "interviews" often appear to have choppy editing, its part of their (annoying) fast paced tabloid style.

Wendys show airs live here daily unedited and I watched her report the Markle story a few days ago, which is why I posted about it before. Wendy reported it as a fact that was verbally confirmed to her staff privately by Markle behind the scenes. It seems Inside Edition has relied on the Wendy show as the source while not really having directly asked Markle about it, it isnt even made clear when their interview takes place. We already know that celebs going in are not permitted to confirm this publicly.

Sketchy reporting aside, to me this underscores a more important issue: why Channel 5 would be, and may be, absolute fools to lose BB, and specifically CBB (which are of course a package deal.) It is the only show that makes them even remotely relevant as a broadcaster. What other show on C5 can garner national headlines at all, let alone just on the basis that someone MIGHT be entering, and more so make news to millions of people across the pond.? BB/CBB is literally the only real brand C5 have got. I promise you no one here has a clue who Jane McDonald is and never will. (Except of course a few UK reality tv obsessed superfans like myself)
