Her playing the countess would be pointless imo, surely that character has nothing to add to the storyline, her whole life was in the hotel

Well I agree with that but the fact that coven/the witches are back is at least slightly more relevant than the countess

No. The show is renewed through to season 9 (so far). Edit: WELP. Make that ten seasons.
