Yeah the public vote is the traditional format. BBUS didn't like it and changed it very early on.

To be honest, the only BBs i even hear about are the UK/US/Can/AUS. I'm not the most international bb fan but I think our format is the best and I'd hate to see it change.

That's not to say I don't enjoy the 'other' format, as I really like BBCan, but it's not as good to me. And I know many other BBUK fans feel the same.
