Chloe has a conversation and people are pulling conspiracy theories out of nowhere that she's planning some big ol' trap for the helpless men in there. She can't have a conversation without people looking to blame her for silly imaginary things. People painted her as the villain for being kidnapped because it's easier to blame her then it is to see her as the victim. Even now when the court case ended in the kidnapper's imprisonment, people still think that she's somehow in the wrong. Women always get the blame, just look at Chloe and the reason why she's famous for proof. |

I'm not sure tbh ,I was reading things in this forum about her changing her story or something .I hardly think anyone can call Hardeep "helpless" , I think either him or Rodrigo will walk in on someone having a shower . And play it off as a "prank"

There will always be doubt because our society will always make us doubt female victims. A court with all the evidence sided with her version of events and people are like 'well, she's a woman so she must be guilty of SOMETHING.' |

You act as though only women face these problems in the media & society. |

Just look at the story with the Irish rugby players, evidence that showed the victim was in a state of distress with injuries after it had happened was disallowed because of a bull**** reason that allowed the accused to get off the hook. The conviction rate isn't low because there's not many incidents of rape happening in the UK, it's low because most of the time, the court will do it's most to blame the victim and ignore the issue of consent for the most part. Kidnapping is wildly different, when the victim and the perpetrator are found then there's gonna be a trail filled with evidence. It's not a case of 'he said, she said' but a case with tangible evidence. To compare the two is weird and nonsensical tbh. Rape trials are decided on testimony and on which side can spin the most convincing story and more often than not, spinning that story involves blaming the victim. A kidnapping case would be a case of evidence and logic. There is evidence and testimony backing up Chloe's version of events, you can't really argue against it. People just want to find a reason to blame her for ****. Last edited by Tom4784; 20-08-2018 at 02:23 AM. |

Quand il pleut, il pleut

..it was the kidnapper himself who was saying that she was part of the kidnapping...you know that person who was convicted for 17 years and has had every vested interest in saying that..it’s his story that some public are believing rather than hers..?...a stalker controlling person who is very disturbing over an innocent victim..hmmm, well the power of the media I guess..but very baffling still...I do see there were some inconsistencies in her story also because she left some bits out..(...although she didn’t to the police, only to the media etc..)...because she obviously genuinely believed in the Black Death gang and their extending ‘power’ and still feared them so much...both for herself, her family and for her kidnapper as well as she had been convinced he was her ‘saviour’...poor girl, her experience is just awful, just horrendous...and then she’s not believed as well..?...the nightmare continues for her..
......I saw the interview with Piers Morgan as well...that man is grim beyond words../...awful man he is....
