They're both playing each other to make themselves look likeable; Sally is because she knows Ryan is popular and has mentioned it several times and Ryan is because he keeps lapping up the 'i'm respectful to women/nans!' routine. Coincidentally it's been much more obvious since Hardeep was evicted over Sally since her and Ryan both said they think he'd win and are patting themselves on the back thinking they're getting the last laugh now
