Officially denounced it. Most of their bigwigs are exactly the same people who were involved back then, and you'd have to be a certain sort of gullible to genuinely believe that these individuals have "changed".
Extremist parties masquerading under more moderate policies in order to get into power, and sneak in their extremist rhetoric through the back door in a palatable form.
