I agree. I believe the stuff she said about her family, I'm inclined to even believe that they were poor / homeless at some point, but the "I had to eat bread covered in ants" part was tacked on nonsense.

Yup. I do believe they were poor and that her mum never gave her much attention

But she again embellished a lot. For more attention. And the emotions seemed very forced.
