I'm excited but I'm utterly terrified I just want to not be embarrassing. I think I'm the only person not going dressed as a Bandito so at least I can save myself the embarrassment of that

I've met a few bands and singers I liked, by waiting by the stagedoor after the gig 8-) If they're in the mood for meeting fans they will, and if not they'll use one of the other exits, so it's not like they're being ambushed on the way to their bus/hotel.
But yeah they've always been really friendly and signed whatever people had.
