Its questioning of motives and attitudes of this nature that make it hard for people to declare their sexuality and feelings.
Crikey, people can dislike an individual but to deride his personal need to say this at whatever time of his choosing. and call them a liar is really low.

Furthermore, he has wrestled with this for years, he told Lewis he had since he was 14.
Thank goodness he has supportive voices in there.
