With the FINAL series of Big Brother well under way. Im going to take a look back at the housemates from both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother over the next few weeks and fill you in on what happened to them and where they are now

Sada Walkington

Age upon entering: 28
Age Now: 46

Trained actress Sada now lives in Argentina and works as a yoga instructor.

She has changed her name to Guru Amrit Dev and is married to Argentinian
musician Sat Man Swaraj.

The couple have twins, Indigo and Padma, born in 2005.



Andy Davidson

Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 41

Andy, famed for kissing Melanie Hill in the house, is now working as the head
of client strategy at insight and brand consultancy Flamingo, based in
London, and is a father of three.

On Flamingo’s website, he says he first applied to work at Flamingo in 2001
but was turned down because of his “murky reality TV past”.

After that, he worked at MTV for four years, before creating a $1.5million
business conducting research for brands such as Weetabix, McVitie’s,
Doritos, Idea and Starbucks, before heading back to Flamingo to head up
their UK practise.

He is the brother of Formula One racing driver and BBC Radio Five commentator,
Anthony Davidson.




Caroline O’Shea

Age upon entering: 37
Age Now: 55

Former dancer and pop star wannabe Caroline ‘Caggie’ O’Shea was unemployed
when she entered the Big Brother house, and soon began to irritate
housemates with her distinctive laugh.

She was nominated for the first eviction but clung on, eventually being kicked
out after three weeks when an incredible 900,000 people voted for her.

Caroline was reportedly depressed after the series, but she was last seen
making a brief appearance in Ultimate Big Brother in 2010 to participate in
a task.




Nick Bateman

Age upon entering: 32
Age Now: 50

Nick was caught trying to influence nominations by writing names on a piece of
paper.

Nick appeared as a housemate in Ultimate Big Brother in 2010

He was thrown out and vilified by fans. But the ex-stockbroker bounced back
with a media career.

He also wrote a book, Nasty Nick: How To Be A Right B*****d, and trained as a
camera director.



Nichola Holt

Age upon entering: 28
Age Now: 46

Shaved headed artist Nichola was famed on Big Brother for stripping to make
clay imprints of her naked body on the walls of the house.

She is currently believed to be a single mother to a four-year-old girl and
living in her home town of Bolton, Lancashire.

She was previously married to personal trainer Yas Parr. The couple are said
to have married on the island of Huatulco in Mexico, where her wedding dress
was composed of a white swimsuit and white silk sarong.




Tom McDermott

Age upon entering: 31
Age Now: 49

Tom got together with housemate Claire Strutton. The couple had a baby, but
split soon afterwards.

Tom now lives in a village on the coast of Cornwall where he runs his own
property company.

He remarried ten years ago, and former wife Claire, a florist, did the flowers
for his wedding.



Claire Strutton

Age Now: 43

Florist Claire entered the house after Nasty Nick was kicked
out for cheating.

Claire got together with fellow housemate Tom McDermott. They
had a baby boy, Pierce, and moved to Spain. But they split up within a year.

Claire remarried and has founded a luxury beach resort in Marbella as well as
night spots in Gibraltar and Chigwell, Essex.



Melanie Hill

Age upon entering: 26
Age Now: 44

Melanie worked in marketing and was interested in the
technical side of Big Brother.

Melanie has written a magazine column and worked as a marketing
director.

She is currently taking a career break to look after her son, Otis, with her
boyfriend Glenn.



Darren Ramsay

Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 41

Darren was an aspiring model and dancer.

Darren came out as gay after the show

Darren came third and had various TV jobs for a while. He now
works for a research company.



Anna Nolan

Age upon entering: 29
Age Now: 47

Anna was an Irish, lesbian, former nun.

Anna finished second. She got a job on BBC3 before returning to
Ireland where she had a successful presenting career.

Now she is an executive producer and also presents the Great Irish Bake Off.

Host Davina McCall took a shine to Anna and got her to sign
to her own agent. The pair are still friends.



Craig Phillips

Age upon entering: 28
Age Now: 46

Craig launched a career as a DIY expert and hosted shows such as
60 Minute Makeover.

He now has his own production company doing makeover programmes for the
British Forces Broadcasting Service.

He is also an ambassador for tradesman website checkatrade.com.
He says: “There have been 14 other winners who haven’t been as successful as
me. Winning first makes a difference but if you’ve got nothing else to give,
you’ll fade away.”

Penny Ellis

Age upon entering: 33
Age Now: 50

After the house, she lost her job as a teacher at an all girls school and posed almost naked in a newspaper but for conveniently placed bubbles. She also appeared in Jack and the Beanstalk playing a fairy and had a show on Liberty Radio. Penny then judged Miss Ireland in 2001 and starred in a Big Brother special of The Weakest Link. She has since returned to teaching.

Stuart Hosking

Age Now: 53

After the house, Stuart and fellow contestant Dean went on to invent the Tea Bag Bin. He also made numerous TV appearances on shows including RISE, BBLB and on QVC. He also presented some TV shows including BBLB, Sky News and QVC. He has also co-represented on radio shows including FOX FM and Capital Gold and had his own radio show on Mix 96 FM.



Narinder Kaur

Age upon entering: 28
Age Now: 45

Narinder has never strayed too far away from the Big Brother world. Since her eviction, she has made appearances on TV shows including BBLB and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side as well as other Big Brother related documentaries and the Big Brother Panto, yes you did indeed read that right, alongside with her own radio show. She has also written a book on Big Brother, because y’know, she hadn’t really mentioned it since she left.
In more recent times, she welcomed a child into the world with her husband, for whom fellow housemate and former best mate Brian is the godfather. They fell out in 2018 after 17 years of friendship
As well as that, she became the front of an UK Campaign against forced marriages and has done some modelling.



Bubble

Age upon entering: 24
Age Now: 41

After the house Bubble (real name Paul Ferguson) went on to release a charity single with fellow ex-housemate Dean called “Standing Tall” which charted at number 99.
Besides his cameo in The Office, he has had a number of TV appearances on shows such as Dead Set and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Nowadays, after attending drama school, he now works as a drama teacher.



Amma Antwi

Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 40

After she starred in Big Brother, Amma went on to dip her toe into the world of acting when she starred in Sky One classic Dream Team for one series.
She also returned to Ultimate Big Brother for the “Who is She?” task in 2010, which was the last time she appeared on our TV screens.



Josh Rafter

Age upon entering: 32
Age Now: 49

Londoner Paul John Rafter (Known as Josh) was a property manager before Big Brother. The 32-year-old was known for being somewhat of an outsider in the house after being voted in by the public and annoying Brian by being voted into the house.
After the house, he dabbled in modelling for a while before taking up a part in a campaign by the NHS focusing on safe sex. He is also a supporter of a number of gay charities.
Nowadays, he is the Managing Director of a property company and Chairman of the Wig Party.



Paul Clarke

Age upon entering: 25
Age Now: 42

Before the house Paul Clarke, 25, was a CAD manager from Reading. During his stay at the Big Brother house, he became known for his relationship with Helen. After Big Brother, he continued his relationship with Helen as they moved in together in London. However, as stated earlier, it wasn’t to be. Despite being approached to film a fly-on-the-wall*documentary, the pair opted to stay out of the limelight.*Sadly in 2006 the couple split for good, blaming the pressure of fame for their break up.*
Paul went back to his previous career designing cars.

Elizabeth Woodcock

Age upon entering: 26
Age Now: 43

26-year-old Elizabeth Woodcock was a website designer from Cumbria before she braved the Big Brother house, and she was one of the final four, so to speak. She came forth with 2% of the vote needed to win.
After Big Brother, she split with her boyfriend, who had sold naked pictures of her to Daily Star, then after that she made a documentary on a motorbike trip she made from Poland to Malta, using a Yahama Fazer to cross over 10 different countries in Europe.
After her adventures, she continued to work as a web designer. She is now a campaigner for wildlife preservation and an artist



Dean O’Loughlin

Age upon entering: 37
Age Now: 54

Before entering the house, Dean was an online manager from Birmingham. Despite being known to the other housemates as the boring one who liked to play his guitar a lot, he still managed to finish third with 5% of the vote to win.
After the house, he appeared on the Virgin State at V Festival. More recently, he formed a company with house mate Stuart and invented the Tea Bag Bin and has written a book called Living in the Box: An Adventure in Reality TV. He released a single with fellow house mate Bubble called “Standing Tall”, which charted at number 9



Helen Adams
Age upon entering: 22
Age Now: 39
There always has to be a quota on Big Brother; you have the annoying one, the nice one, the one with attitude and so on. Helen Adams filled the role as the ditzy one. Often known to the other house mates for “Helenisms” as they called them such as “I love blinking I do”.
During her stay, she began a romance with fellow housemate Paul, and throughout the show she proved to be popular, eventually coming in second with 37% of the vote needed to win.
After the house, Helen continued her relationship with Paul, appearing in celebrity magazines together such as Heat along the way. It wasn’t to be however, as after five years together they split up in 2006.
Helen kept herself busy after Big Brother with numerous TV appearances including a spot on Lorraine Kelly’s show Lorraine, a guest panellist on Loose Women, various spots for GMTV and other Big Brother documentaries. She also released a Dance Workout DVD. She has also appeared in other reality shows such as Celebrity Fear Factor and Dead Set.
More recently, Helen has gone back to her job as a hairdresser. She is now married, and has a*little*girl.*



Brian Dowling
Age upon entering: 22
Age Now: 40
As well as being known as everyone’s favourite in the house, he was also known for his dislike of fellow housemate Josh.
After winning Big Brother he starred in other reality TV shows including Hell’s Kitchen, where he came third and Fáilte Towers – which was an Irish reality TV series which involved celebrities running a hotel for sixteen days and nights, where he came second. He also won a Come Dine with Me Big Brother Winners special. In 2010, he won Ultimate Big Brother and the title of Ultimate House mate.
Brian certainly kept himself busy after winning Big Brother 2 as he also co-presented Live from Studio 5, as well as presenting Big Brother on Channel 5. He has also became the first openly gay SMTV Live presenter in 2002, his own show called Brian’s Boyfriends and is a guest presenter on This Morning. He has also done voice-over work which includes his work narrating The Salon. He has also hosted awards ceremonies including the Elle Style Awards. He had a spot on Radio 1 on Saturdays mornings doing the entertainment news in 2004-6.
As well as a spot of panto every now and then, since 2014, Dowling has presented the TV3 game show Sitting on a Fortune in Ireland.
In 2015 he married his partner Arthur Gourounlian

Sunita Sharma

Age Now: 41

Sunita left the Big Brother 3 house voluntarily in week 1. After leaving the Big Brother house, she returned to her career and fully qualified as a barrister specialising in Criminal Law. She currently works in recruitment at an Investments firm leading a Human Capital Management department.

Lynne Moncrieff

Age Now: 52

Lynne was evicted from Big Brother 3 in week 1 with all house mates choosing to vote her out. After the Big Brother house, she briefly moved to London before returning to Aberdeen and currently works in an art gallery.



Alison Hammond
Age upon entering: 27
Age Now: 43

Although she was evicted from Big Brother 3 in week 2 with 39% of the vote, Alison went on to become one of the most successful contestants to ever compete in the show. After leaving Big Brother she became a presenter on This Morning and has interviewed a number of celebrities. She appeared on Celebrity Fit Club, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes and Strictly Come Dancing. In 2005, she had a baby boy and in 2011, she walked the catwalk for Liverpool's Fashion Week.



Sandy Cumming
Age upon entering: 43
Age Now: 59

Sandy left the Big Brother 3 house in week 3 after climbing on the roof before being talked down and leaving via the back door. Since leaving the Big Brother house, he kept out of the media spotlight and he returned to his role as a personal shopper at Selfridges. He changed his surname to avoid being recognised and is now a Community Police Officer.

Lee Davey

Age Now: 37

Lee was evicted from Big Brother 3 in week 3 with 84% of the vote. After leaving the Big Brother house, he married Sophie Pritchard on Big Brother's Little Wedding. They had son Max in 2005 and split up in 2006. He went on tour with The Dream Boys and released a fitness DVD called Lee's Wicked Workout. He owned a chain of gyms and is a writer for Get French Football News.



Spencer Smith
Age upon entering: 22
Age Now: 38

Spencer was evicted from Big Brother 3 in week 4 with 55% of the vote. Since leaving the Big Brother house, he has done modelling work, appeared in pantomimes and hosted Fishing show Cast Away. He appeared in Celebrity 5 Go Dating, Celebrity Fear Factor, Celebrity Four Weddings Celebrity Coach Trip, teamed with Brian Belo. In 2010, he was working as Jodie Marsh's gardener.

Sophie Pritchard

Age Now: 40

Sophie was evicted from Big Brother 3 in week 5 with 85% of the vote. After the Big Brother house, Sophie and Lee were in a relationship, Lee proposed to Sophie live on RI:SE and they married in August 2003. In 2005, they had son Max, the first ever Big Brother baby but split up in 2006 and remain friends. She is currently a school teacher in Milton Keynes and went to have a further 2 children




Adele Roberts
Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 39

Adele was evicted from Big Brother 3 in week 6 with 62% of the vote. After the Big Brother house, she continued with her DJ work, being a DJ on Rock FM, Hits FM, Galaxy Radio, Capital FM, weekly weekend spots on Radio 1Xtra and is currently on Radio one from 4.30-6.30am. She is also regular cover for Clara Amfo and Alice Levine. Adele also DJs at festivals, nightclubs and celebrity parties. In 2007, she returned to the house with Alex for a task.



PJ Ellis
Age upon entering: 22
Age Now: 38

PJ was evicted from Big Brother 3 in week 7 with 81% of the vote. After leaving the Big Brother house, he remained friends with Jade and they kept in contact for 18 months before falling out of touch. He met Kelly in 2007 and they got married in 2010. He worked as a lawyer in Birmingham before leaving to focus on his charity work with Love Brum UK. He founded social media company Blake7.



Tim Culley*
Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 39

Tim was evicted*from Big Brother 3*in week 8 with 81% of the vote.*After the*Big Brother*house, Tim wrote a very moving article on Jade Goody. He moved to South Africa and worked for Sports Illustrated and later helped launch SA's first weekly lads mag. He returned to advertising and was*Marketing Director of Weylandts, a high end furniture company.*He is currently head of Visual Merchandising at Truworths Fashion



Jade Goody
Age upon entering: 20
Age Now: Jade died in March 2009 aged 27

Jade came fourth in the Big Brother 3 final with 20% of the vote. After the Big Brother house, she was in a relationship with Jeff Brazier having sons Bobby and Freddie. She appeared on Back to Reality and the Big Brother Panto. She released three work out DVDs, two autobiographies and a perfume. She had her own reality TV Shows Jades Salon and Just Jade. In 2007, entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and there was controversy surrounding racist comments. She entered the Big Brother house in India but left after two days after being told she had cervical cancer. Jade and Jack married in February 2009 and Jade sadly died in March 2009.



Alex Sibley
Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 39

Alex came third in the Big Brother 3 final with 27% of vote. After leaving the Big Brother house he appeared in an advert for Domestos and modelled at London Fashion Week. He appeared on TV shows such as Driven, Celebrity Fear Factor, Blind Date Celebrity Special, Loose Women and Wish You Were Here and has Big Brother house twice for tasks. He dated Melanie Hill until 2007 and is now married with a daughter. He is a regular guest panelist on Big Brothers Bit on the Side



Jonny Regan
Age upon entering: 29
Age Now: 45

Johnny came second in the Big Brother 3 final with 42% of the vote. After the Big Brother house, he was a radio presenter on TFM radio and appeared in pantomimes Aladdin. He has gone into acting and presenting, appearing in/on RI:SE, CDUK, Spoof! , Coronation Street, The Bill, Byker Grove, Vera and Billy Eliiot. He appeared in TV adverts for British Gas, Skybet and Kelloggs. His wedding was covered by OK! Magazine when he married Joanne Llewellyn. He now owns a photography company, Picturebook Studios LTD



Kate Lawler
Age upon entering: 22
Age Now: 38

Kate was the Big Brother 3 winner with 58% of the vote. After leaving the house, she was a radio DJ on Capital FM, Kerrang Radio, Virgin Radio and a nightclub DJ all over the world and launching her own own record label. She has appeared on tv, presenting RI:SE and featuring on Celebrity Love Island, Celebrity Wrestling, Hole in the Wall, Celebrity Wipeout and Big Brother Celebrity Hijack. She presented dating show Playdate and became the face of an Ann Summers campaign. In 2007, she was banned from driving for 6 months for speeding. In 2012, she carried the Olympic Torch in Sandwell. She is currently a day time radio presenter on Virgin Radio.

Anyroad, it's interesting how many of the HMs from back then have current pictures from "events" or otherwise professionally photographed, I can't see many modern HMs still being invited to "events" when the same amount of time has passed.

Anouska Golebiewski

Age upon entering: 20
Age Now: 35

Anouska was evicted from Big Brother 4 in week 1 with 46% of the vote. After the Big Brother house, she appeared in the Australian Big Brother, Distraction and the Big Brother Panto. She returned to University to study psychology and currently works as a counsellor. In 2011, she did the Bupa Great North Run for the Meningitis Trust and in 2012, the Shell Chester Half Marathon for Young Minds.

Justine Sellman

Age Now: 42

Justine was evicted week 2. Since leaving the House, Justine dated Big Brother 1 housemate Nick Bateman for a period of time and then went on to host a late night television show. She was a sales rep for a talent agency and was married in 2007 but later Separated.



Joanne Sissy Rooney

Age upon entering: 26
Age Now: 41

Sissy was evicted from Big Brother 4 in week 3 with 45% of the vote. After leaving the Big Brother house she became a fashion designer and founded the Streetstyle Surgery, which runs workshops for youths in fashion design and film-making. She has won many awards and commendations for the Streetstyle Surgery including Sole Trader of the Year at the Enterprise Vision Awards.



Federico Martone

Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 38

Federico was evicted from Big Brother 4 in week 4 with 40% of the vote. After the Big Brother house, he appeared on Bo Selecta and Sky One's Top Ten Sexiest Women. He returned to the house for a task and got told off for talking Michael Jackson's death. He now works in his father's restaurants Piazza Italia and Qua and opened his own art gallery. He is currently a columnist for The Daily Record, Now Magazine, Football Italia and Digital Spy.



Jon Tickle

Age upon entering: 29
Age Now: 44

Jon was Evicted in week 5. After big Brother Jon, a physics graduate of the University of Leicester, went on to co-present Brainiac: Science Abuse, a series of science-based shows on the UK television station. He went on to become a Data Analyst for British Gas
He is a regular guest panelist soon Big Brothers Bit on the Side



Tânia do Nascimento*

Age upon entering: 22
Age Now: 37

Tania was evicted*from Big Brother 4*in week 5 with 72% of the vote.*After the*Big Brother*house, she gave birth to son Zach in February 2005 and has done various modelling jobs. She briefly rekindled her relationship with footballer*Youssef Sofian.



Herjender Gos Gosal

Age upon entering: 31
Age Now: 46

Gos was evicted from Big Brother 4 in week 6 with 46% of the vote to evict. After the Big Brother house, he went back to his previous career as a chef cooking for some top London restaurants and health spas. He is also a presenter on radio shows Asian Network Radio, Westside FM and Five Live.



Lisa Jeynes

Age upon entering: 35
Age Now: 50

Lisa entered the house as a late entrant on day 37 but was evicted on Day 50. Lisa did however attempt to reapply to enter the following year's show, from which she was automatically turned away. Her stay in the house became a national talking point, as some of the housemates believed she had once been a man. She said she can "kill someone with two fingers", she was isolated by her housemates, particularly Cameron and Steph. Lisa, who was once voted the 46th most beautiful woman in Wales, has twice tried and failed to claim damages for the media treatment she faced during her time on the show. She has appeared on a number of television shows including Trisha Goddard following her struggles with her media treatment and "obsession" with plastic surgery. She was also romantically involved with James Hewitt.[6]
She briefly returned to the house in 2010 for the overall final Channel 4 series Ultimate Big Brother, in a task called Who Is She?. She stood in a line-up with four other women, all of whom said, "I'm Lisa Jeynes from Big Brother 4 and I could kill you with these two fingers". Nikki Grahame had to identify the real Lisa and guessed correctly.



Nush Nowak

Age upon entering: 23
Age Now: 38

Nush was evicted in week 8. After the show she started a relationship with J-Roc - who was part of the band Big Brovaz.
She now[when?] works as a TV producer/director and lives in London with her husband, Sam Ornbo, whom she met on the show.



Stephanie Coldicott

Age upon entering: 27
Age Now: 42

Steph came fourth in the Big Brother 4 final with 7% of the vote.*After the*Big Brother*house, she worked for Connections and now works as a Head of School and Learning Coordinator. She had her divorce from husband footballer Stacy Coldicott finalised and had a custody battle over their pet dogs. She now goes by her maiden name Steph Smith. She still teaches to this day

Scott Turner

Age Now: 42

Scott came third place in the Big Brother 4 final with 27% of the vote. After leaving the Big Brother house, he was rumoured to be in a relationship with Nush but it wasn't true. He now works as a Communications manager for a theatre group and has written a play.



Ray Shah

Age upon entering: 25
Age Now: 40

Ray came second place in the Big Brother 4 final with 43% of the vote. After leaving the Big Brother house he DJed in top clubs in Ireland and on the radio on Dublin’s Q102 radio station and 4FM. He presented On The Box on City Channel and set up business Bodyfirst Nutrition selling sports supplements with three shops and strong online sales. In April 2016 he proposed to his long term girlfriend Dani who gave birth to daughter Riya in October.



Cameron Stout

Age upon entering: 32
Age Now: 47

Cameron was the Big Brother 4 winner with 57% of the vote. After leaving the Big Brother house he worked for the BBC as a spokesperson, co-presented on BBC Scotland and was on BBC Radio. He writes regular columns for Scottish Newspapers, The Sunday Post, Aberdeen Evening Express. He has starred in pantomimes as Prince Charming and Peter Pan and been involved in charity events. He is now a primary school teacher.
