Just 2 weeks left of BBUK

How are we all feeling about it?

im feeling really sad and melancholy.

After 18 years its just kind of slinking off stage and quietly out the back door

..yeah I do feel a bit sad as well, it’s the end of an era...but I’ve also struggled a bit with this series..in the highlight shows showing mainly negative highlights..and also the new time slot, which isn’t great for 4am people like me...

it’s quite sad the series has been hardly watched and talked about and there won’t be a big thing about it at the end of the series, but it does need rest

I think it probably needs a break. The show itself has been good this time but the casting is poor. I think casting needs a serious shake up before it comes back.

I think the casting has been ok. I don't think there are any of them I would choose for my social circle, but the world takes all types, so I don't have any real problems with them.

I think BB could have been stricter with rules, and stuck more firmly to a transparent process, and that would have helped a lot. That's probably my biggest gripe this year.

I don't agree that it needs a rest at all. With such a small viewership, it's already effectively been resting for years compared to it's heady C4 days. It needs a channel committed to its success and prepared to invest the effort required into it.

Netflix would be ideal i think, it would give it a different vibe, and they wouldnt need to care about keeping advertisers or ofcom happy, and viewing figures wouldnt enter into it.

If the eviction order wasn’t so dire this series could’ve been great. Whether you like her or not anamelia was by far the most dynamic and commanding housemate of the first week and I couldn’t see the train stopping there as more people came out of their shell to take her on. A series long love hate feud between her and Lewis could’ve been amazing. But no we’re left with the wallflowers and the twat. I’m enjoying it as a whole but yeah like this could’ve been something completely different if they did vts at the start of the series

I'm ready for this series to end, but not for the franchise to end, or even take a break.

true, what BB needs mostly is positivity, more fun moments in the house

and for me personally Netflix would be better, because i can then watch on the telly, rather than now i am watching the episodes on YouTube

i'd wish we had more UK tv channels available here in my country but we are only BBC limited, and most dutch shows are dull anyway

Imo had they done something like this before they would have had far more viewers, the coin idea is great. One could say not so much manipulation on the producers side but there have been under currents which show that they are still on the ball with making trouble. They have brought out the competitors easier than before.

And she would pop up in those 50 best moments compilations as one of the talking heads.

I agree, it has been a good series, with good tasks, and I think the housmates are fine, lots of varying personalities, they could have thrown in a few older housemates but it hasn't been a huge detriment

Oh, two weeks? I thought there would be about a month left. I've quite enjoyed this series.

It needs a break, but not too long, and if another service brings it back they don't need to overdo it with the number of series in such a short time, like Channel 5 did.
