How many times did he go into an eviction as the most disliked housemate in there on fan polls? The first time would have been this week. And the production team would have known that without a Lewis G or a Hussain to go up against, he would be in trouble.

His fans would have banded together and voted out whoever was up against him. Granted he might have had a greater likelihood of being voted out of it was normal nominations, but I doubt that he would have actually been evicted.

Only in a head to head vote would he have survived. In a 3 way or 4 way eviction when it is a Vote to Evict and votes are split between the others, the most unpopular housemate goes. That is how vote to evict always works, Hence the reason the production team wanted to change it to vote to save.
