And that brings me onto the negatives of this episode. It basically was just for the fangirls of Murder House and was completely unnecessary. I hate nothing more than TV shows with episodes that have characters retelling events than events actually happening themselves and that was basically this entire episode. It also doesn't help that I completely hate the character of Michael (not just because he is evil, I actually think the character has no depth and the actor is extremely annoying and has stupid hair). That being said, it was nice to have the actress who played Pepper having a random appearance.

But did they completely gloss over the fact that there was no apocalypse when Madison and the warlock guy bought the Murder House? Unless they time travelled but I completely missed that and if they did time travel couldn't they just stop the apocalypse in the first place? Idk but seems kind of messy

They didn't time travel. This is all what happened before the bomb?

The last 3 episodes have told the story of how Michael became the Supreme prior to the apocalypse. DO pay attention lovey.

I'm enjoying the series but I'm not a fan of the messy timeline right now, if this series is about the Apocalypse, why are we currently stuck in the past? I don't like it, and as much as it was nice to see Lange back in the series, the episode was pointless and just an excuse for Murphy to have a Murder House reunion with no real meaning or value to the rest of the series.

It was the best episode so far but it had issues.

I thought the Constance and Vivian scenes were pretty strong but Ben's backstory with Micheal was painfully written and I think Micheal's actor is utterly woeful. I like that they are trying to give Madison some actual character but I think it's too quick, she's suddenly found a heart out of nowhere and it's messy.

My biggest problem with the episode was Tate, I thought redeeming him by basically saying he was essentially possessed by the house so he could have a happily ever after with Violet was a terrible copout and a complete retcon of his character. He shouldn't have been a character that was redeemed and Violet needed a better ending. I think this episode wrapped everything up in too much of a bow tbh.

It was problematic but it was the best episode so far, I think. The format of the series is messy as hell though and the extent of the crossover between Coven and Murder House seemingly lasting only one episode is disappointing. but hopefully the upturn of quality in this episode will move things along in the last few episodes.

We should have had this backstory littered throughout the first three episodes I think especially considering that almost everything that happened in those episodes have now been rendered pointless. It would have been more effective if we learned that Cordelia was dying BEFORE we saw her enter the Bunker at the end of episode 3.

I think so far I'd place this series on the level of Hotel tbh, not completely unwatchable like Freakshow or Cult and is fun enough in it's own way but messy.

What was the actual point to having Sarah play Billie Dean? There was no need, Billie didn't help/contribute in anyway. We'd have been as well having Cordelia at the house with Madison. Murphy likes unnecessarily cluttering up his scripts. I mean, I get that Sarah was busy on directing duty for the episode, but still.

Lots of random stuff like Moira and her mother. Nice little tying up of season 1 loose ends but not terribly relevant right now.

Moira being in the house wasn’t even a loose end, if anything it just skewed it’s own logic that removing the body/bones from the property means the soul is freed but Viv/Ben no doubt had their bodies removed but are still stuck there
