Yeah, I thought it was 2D at first, until I realized there's something installed behind the hand and the face is "floating"... but you're right. It looks crappy. Kill it with fire I guess.

it's a tradition, going back decades if not longer
in some places they always burn a current hate figure
nothing to do with the deterioration in public discourse brought by alt right
