Default

4 - 1 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6

4 - Solid game-play and likeable characters. Felt for me like production had finally gotten things right. Well thought out simple twists that made a big impact.

1 - Solely on the entertainment factor. The show was character driven over game-play which it made for an interesting watch compared to the pretty average US series of the day. Was willing to overlook major production errors as it was there first season but interesting to see atypical twists used in this context.

2 - Introduced legitimate strategy, some interesting characters, and an awesome house. That said I'd have rated this series lower if I could. Wasn't a fan of how nasty the game became. Some Twists had promise but poorly executed.

5 - Wasn't a fan of returning players. It felt underwhelming after the previous years internationals twist. Also felt it was too early to bring people back after only four previous series. Returning seasons tend to focus more on veteran players than they do anyone else and the newbies are just fodder. From a production standpoint it felt phoned in. BB Canada really felt like it was losing it's shine and creativity.

3 - Too many twists. Also wasn't a big fan of the fact that the producers went the lazy route in keeping the exact layout of the house. Twists are an essential part of BB but lose impact if they are misused or used too frequently. Minimal likeable characters and overall felt that casting was falling in to a safe zone.

6 - This series had promise but out of all was probably the most phoned in. Complete missed opportunity in recreating the former house in the new studio. The characters felt like a rehashing of former seasons. Reused twists and a general sense that production just didn't care. I feel like this series was BB by numbers and all creativity and willingness to push boundaries the show once had was lost.
