And I'm sure the camp mates would rather someone who didn't have an illness, a disability or a condition that would prevent them from completing a trial. Whether that is Anne or anybody else. But, what I said has everything to do with what you posted, you seem awfully offended by someone else's weight. Do you get offended by underweight people too? |

![]() The only real struggle I have seen her have is getting out a hammock, apart from that she has cried twice but then lots of people cry Harry has lived for 28 years with no taste or sense of smell - that is a huge disability as he cannot really enjoy any food or alcohol for example |

Blatant ignorance on here
Given how there's never been any signs of ableism on this forum among the racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia we see in on-season, I honestly thought people would have the compassion to understand someone struggles. Meanwhile people say Anne's only "claiming" to have Asperger's and that she dragged the public's view on autism 'years back'. It's utterly vile and the fact people are unwilling to understand and respect that she's autistic vile. Also I think those people misunderstand the desire for "equal treatment" minorities have. As a disabled person, I want to be treated equally in society - I want to be confident that my disability won't affect my employment and that I will not be judged for it. That doesn't necessarily mean I want to be held to the same standards as able-bodied people. Like, if someone expected me to run 100m (heck, even walking it can take it out of me) alongside athletes, I would refuse, and the logic some of these people would have would be "well you wanna be treated equally right? So why are you wanting special treatment?" Which seems like such an odd example to bring up, but when we consider that Anne is being judged for being exempt from trials on medical grounds (and we don't even know what those grounds are) it's just ridiculous. Part of getting equality is recognises differences and accommodating them - no way should (a demographic - depending on their impairment) disabled people be held to the expectation they should be physically equal to able bodied people because we want to be treated fairly |

What exactly does that have to do with Anne's disability? Are you suggesting Harry should also be exempt from trials on the basis of having no sense of smell? As apparently any and all disabilities and conditions are obviously all the same. |

Donald Trump inspires people, does this mean he's exempt from criticism or nasty comments?

Well, unless she's displayed any of those tendencies in public, you're not going to treat someone like sh*t just on the off chance she might be homophobic or racist.
Compared to a man running one of the world's most powerful countries based on his own hatred. What a silly comparison. |

I agree with this. I think there are a lot of things she can do that are not affected by her condition. She has admitted shes lazy....probably why she is obese...and I think that if other people are willing to do things for her she will let them do it. I would like to see her getting involved with SOMETHING...even preparing the veg would be something...but she needs to push herself a bit more physically..she can fetch or gather wood with someone else...but if she is going to be an inspiration she needs to start getting involved and pushing those boundaries.

So what you are saying is we can only judge her on how she behaves on the show....but we can use an american president to compare her against...

Change that to "She's done NOTHING in the show" and I would agree with you ,Shes using her condition to get away with being a lazy cow and that is a detriment to other people who have aspergers and lead as normal life as possible, but this thread was opened to point out that IMO Noel will have been told by the producers to make Anne his deputy therefore giving her an excuse to sit on her lazy arse for the next 4 days
