I'm loving Jack's antics and dry humour.
Tragic set of nominations, Jack and Vanessa were the only housemates really doing anything.

Anthea's gone up because she was the only one if I heard correctly that actually voiced concern FOR Vanessa after her meltdown rather than just say 'oooh that was scary ' but her and Claire are basically even in that they do nothing. I'm a bit disappointed in Claire - I don't know why but in the first episode or so I got this kind of bitchy vibe from her but nothing materialised. Maybe in a later series she would've been better but alas, here she is.

I think the main problem with this series is its length. We're halfway through and you barely know anyone beyond surface level. The way the early series were produced really relied on you getting to know people for weeks on end but here everything keeps changing before any dynamics are formed. The barebones production encourages a certain level of stillness, unlike later series where multiple things are thrown at the housemates at once to get them moving. And also the casting gets generally more controversial/confrontational.
Here it still pays off with Vanessa's iconic meltdown but outside of that it leaves almost nothing to talk about.
