that makes me puke, him getting that title before John Cleese, so undeserving

John Cleese has contributed more to comedy, but Palin has done all his travel stuff, which probably counted for more.

Pole to Pole, Around the World in 80 Days, Full Circle... not to mention all his other stuff. His documentary on WW1 was particularly brilliant.
