I think the fact the New Green Deal was almost universally mocked shows how stupid it is. As far as I know it's not even been officially put on the table, it was just outlined on AOC's website. If it does ever reach the proposal stages, some grownups would have helped her improve it.
Sure, Trump's presidency seems to have been beneficial for America's economy, but that doesn't mean the man himself doesn't act like a baby sometimes.
