I keep saying it but I cant help it really..I feel so sorry for May. The job was basically taking the fall for the ****show that is Brexit. I mean, she wanted to remain too so shes in a really difficult position. Everyone is blaming her when CAMERON is the one to blame. Mind I do think shes a weak PM. She had to do this, so she could be blamed when it all goes wrong, and then the new leader can say they didn't think ti was right etc. and then..it will be forgotten and May will go down as one of the worst PMs ever.

She knew though Vicky, they all knew, the only reason she got the job is because everyone else was avoiding it like the plague because it would only ever go one way. In full knowledge of that she decided she wanted a shot at it anyway. She didn't have to.

Yeah I know that, still feel sorry for her though. Even after the election I felt sorry for her, despite KNOWING she only did it thinking she would wipe the floor with Labour. So really, I should have been laughing at the arrogant twat who did the totasl wrong thing

I think she has to harbour a lot of the responsibility for the deadlock we’ve reached to be fair.

She called an election that she promised she never would, in a disgraceful and deliberate attempt to wipe the opposition off the electoral map for a generation and effectively set up a quasi one-party state. This, whilst pretending it was to “get a bigger mandate to deliver on Brexit”, rather ironically squandered the existing parliamentary mandate she already had, and that’s why we’re in this position.

I don't feel sorry for her at all.

1/though a remainer she sat out the ref campaign, unwilling to stand up for her views
2/instead of making brexit cross-party issue she bowed to a group of tory hardliners in setting out her red lines on which she based her negotations
and now she's surprised parliament doesnt' support her deal and
3/called art 50 too early
4/should have allowed parliament to form consensus before negotiations not after
5/stupid elections
6/throughout she always put party politics before the country while claiming otherwise
7/no skillset for the job so cleary lack in judgement; inflexible, unimaginative, unable to empathize,
8/landed us in this mess

Actually when Cameron was PM he DID get the Blame ,and I think many laughed when he stood down as he caused this mess .

May is now making a mess of things so of course she's getting blamed, and when she was home secretary she made bad choices. Everything with Brexit is a joke and I'm bored of hearing about it on the news , and nobody seems to have a Clue what they're doing .
