If you're a poor man's Derek, then you're probably still going to be an iconic housemate.

And even in spite of that, they both have plenty of differences. All they really have in common is being bitchy people who act superior even though they're pretty idiotic. But Derek is bitchy to harm others and make himself be on top and he's idiotic in the sense that he's blatantly ignorant of everyone. Ben is bitchy and silly too but he's way less self-aware and much more goes wrong for him
