I do this a ton but usually it's simply to text some people / check social media quickly when I'm not supposed to be on break (like 5-10 mins, sometimes a bit longer).

I think it's pretty normal tho All my other co-workers do it too from what I can tell. If no one in "charge" is even around, then there are times where I'll slack off for up to a few hours of barely doing any actual work.
