Edit. Actually thinking a bit more about this, my 6 year old has asked for 'gingerbread girls' a fair few times, maybe the co-op has picked up on stuff like that? IDK. I just buy gingerbread men and tell her they are gingerbread girls and shes none the wiser, tends to ask why they aren't wearing dresses which brings on the whole 'girls don't have to wear dreses, you only have dresses as you ask for them constantly and you have loads of trousers, so these gingerbread girls are wearing trousers!' spiel..which is tiring tbh over and over. Stereotypes have a lot to answer for
