Season 3 is my favourite. I find with Pheobe she is funny in the earlier seasons but irritating in the latter.

The first two seasons are the worst. I found the whole will they/won't they storyline that was heavily centred around the first two seasons dull too.

I think that's what I enjoyed about seasons 6/7 was that Ross and Rachel had their own storylines because they weren't together or jealous of one another which made them both funnier.

We were actually at the cutting edge of technology at the time and had a VCR with a timer for recording. So basically Netflix .

My dad was also the ONLY person I've ever known who owned a DVD recorder. Like I'd be otherwise unaware that they ever even existed.
