DMC5 is literally just mainly learning how not to get hit at all in terms of beating the higher difficulties. Dante = jump and dodge a lot, Nero = keep yourself and enemies in the air as much as possible, V = keep your distance and spam Area Effect abilities. I also had the benefit of the combat being similar to Nier Automata which was pretty much my life for 4 months a couple of years ago
