47 - Trent (Island, Action)



Trent went from being the typical, nice guy that falls for the outcast girl to an obsessive crazed lover all in the span of two seasons Normally I'd find such a drastic change a scream but his character was completed derailed, (along with many others in TDA) and it's clear that the writers only did this to "break up the main couple" for shock value but it ended up being more embarrassing rather than amusing. Thankfully, while he was an early boot in Action, he was still okay in Island, having some pretty underrated scenes with Lindsay, such as getting stuck in the quicksand together and also the trust challenge which is probably my favorite Trent scene

Trent: I thought you said you passed biology...
Lindsay: I said I TOOK biology

All in all Trent, (along with Bridgette & Geoff), is one of the first victims to the writers ****ing up a character in their 2nd or later seasons, a trend that many characters who appear in multiple seasons soon suffer from.
