I'd suggest that there's a difference between hobby-gaming and casual-gaming personally, I'd probably also say the same about movies. There's a difference between everyone enjoying a good movie and someone who is genuinely invested in the "art" of movie making and likes reading up about score composers, directors, cinematography etc.

I do otherwise agree though that general entertainment isn't really a "hobby" per se...

Photography. I'm trying to better myself and really get used to aperture/shutter speed and all that and then I'll switch from digital to film hopefully. It's all about confidence.

- Playing sports (basketball/football/baseball) --- not as much in recent years
- Playing video games --- not as much in recent years
- Playing poker or other card/board games --- not as much in recent years
- Watching movies --- not as much in recent years
- Flirting with / hooking up with girls --- not as much in recent years (JOKE hobby, but it does kinda count as a hobby I guess oop)
