There's a vital lack of context here. Where is the footage leading up to this? What caused this escalation? Until context is provided then it's just the Right Wing doing their usual tricks of misrepresenting the facts to better suit their agenda.

After similar 'incidents' in the past, it's most likely that this man provoked the crowd to film their reaction so they can do the whole 'look how nasty this crowd is to this sweet innocent man!' thing that the right do endlessly.
