Yeah i would agree with this tbh.

Mind I don't think it has anything to do with her job so being sacked/resigning seems OTT.

Depends on the job - if she was some kind of carer or a nurse, or worked in education, it wouldn't be that OTT really - I wouldn't want a psycho like that looking after me or my relatives.
