Yes it was as adulthood is normally about being more independent and fending for yourself for employment and even having a roof over your head.

I didn't read the question properly so put 18! I would say around 21/22. I'm 18 and I certainly don't feel like an adult

Well 16/17 on average is when people start trying to get a job and be independent, even in this mess of a time it is still the case.

I have a 16 year old and i have had another who was 16 and i know their pals and contemporaries, i have a nephew who is 17 and a niece who is 15 and i live with a 15 year old (the TL'S recalcitrant)and NONE of them are adults nor near adults yet vile little brats, yes adults, no |

Does anyone ever "feel" like an adult though?
Most people seem to be just scrambling and putting on a face of adulthood, but underneath they are a kid not knowing what the fook is going on.
