Is it at a primary school? If so I think talking about sex and relationships of any kind it does seem a bit soon I certainly didn't have lessons like that until high school when you start to develop those types of feelings

When your at primary you literally just wanna skid around on the floor and fling stones at people of the opposite sex...

It has nothing to do with sex Jake, its part of the diversity and inclusion programme from which most of the the people complaining outside the school will have benefitted from. Much the same as you will now see children with disabilities in story books, and people of colour, they also want to share books with stories about two mums or two dads so it just run of the mill as it should be, not some big deal
