And now it's in serious debates, four years after the event, simply because people here don't tend to like her. If it really was a racist incident someone would have complained at the time, surely? And why is it never a person from the race being "ridiculed" who does the silly name calling? The term 'oriental' to describe people is typically seen as offensive and pulling back the skin around your eyes to 'look asian' is also incredibly insensitive.

It's pretty open and shut. At best she's completely ignorant but given her previous comments on homosexuality, I'm more inclined to believe she's just an well rounded bigot.

repulsive ignorance is pretty strong. She didn't appear to be lacking in education (ie ignorant) in that short clip and i'm not really sure that ignorance can even be described as repulsive ... so ... well ... erm
