Absolutely right.

It's clear in this case they were protesters.
Nothing of physical danger intended.
It's the anger on Field's face that is also worrying.

The holding of her at the back of her neck too.
It would have been bad enough had he grabbed both her arms.
To assault her as she is walking past him.
Then hold her neck all the way out is indefensible.

Yup, the anger is probably the dodgiest thing about it all. Which is why 'he was scared' does not work as an excuse at all. IMO.

His redness could be from all sorts of things...to tight a suit...whiskey...hot room...protestor barging in..

Well thats true I guess, for the redness at least. I do actually wonder if alcohol had something to do with the OTT reaction. a fair few I know have absolutely no control of their temper even after just having a couple of drinks!
