We looked into buying the log fire looking model for our front room.
Anyhow, after much deliberation we have decided to go for the electric version instead. More a question of it being simpler to just switch on the electric one. If it’s your only heat source for the room then neither of them is suitable Kaz. Only any use as a secondary heat source. The fuel is readily available from B&Q and other similar outlets, cheaper than buying from the place you buy the fires. They do bogof every now and then
