If research doesn't pan out, you might just have to be a little vague when it comes to details like that.
I've done it a few times in my books when I've not been able to find an answer to something so I kinda gloss over the details and put more focus elsewhere. In this case, I'd focus more on the horror of the situation and how it unfolds rather than the specifics of the armed response. |
