The winter one should be an all stars series.

Although I don’t know if that would work, I don’t think most would do it again.

On TV this morning for those interested Love Island will be on twice next year and shot in South Africa, I just hope they don't over do it and people get bored

...they probably will overdo it...but with so many reality shows there’s something to be said of making the most of the shows popularity atm as it could have a very short shelf life...

Honestly I think it's probably an error. I'm fairly sure Big Brother would still be going right now if they'd kept it to once-a-year event television and I think if LI runs in January, people will be far less hyped for the summer series, and viewership will decline from there. A mis-step, IMO.

nah maybe one celebrity series for fun in january only to run for 1 or 2 weeks, also they could have celebs with their own charities, they could do it a bit differently than the civilian main LI series honestly


and the real main event being civilian LI in summer which lasts quite throughout most of summer

They should use the SOTF format for the winter series and have ex islanders/All Stars instead.
