A woman has been filmed hurling homophobic abuse at Pride marchers in east London. The Pride marcher was wrapped in an LGBT rainbow flag when the woman, who was wearing a niqab, started yelling: ‘Shame on you, you despicable people’. She was also heard shouting a line from Alan Partridge: ‘God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.’ Despite the shocking abuse, the victim replied: ‘We still love you, you will not shame me,’ as a steward in a yellow vest tried to separate them. Police are now investigating the suspected hate crime, which happened yesterday.

Don't most religions preach that the sinner and the nature of their sin is between them and God and that judgement isn't for others to pass? All these religious people of different creeds need to go read their texts again.

I think a police investigation is a complete waste of time, unless she got physically abusive. Shouting mean things should never be a police matter.

Plus, a niqabi who thinks homosexuality is a sin in east London? That narrows it down

Her shouting could have incited violence and that's the problem. They will never catch her based on that video, but i'm sure she will appear again somewhere else.

Oh there are plenty of Muslims in east London who think it's their duty to tell women they're dressed inappropriately, or they shouldn't be smoking in the street... and definitely to inform gay people they're going to hell. Unacceptable.
