I can't judge people for nicking food tbh. Other stuff maybe, but nicking food to survive? So what..stuff shouldn't be so ****ing expensive and universal credit should not have a 6 week wait where many people get **** all..and so on. Not saying shes on UC but..generally those nicking food are waiting for benefits which take the piss so..

The money lost from theft affects the staff in that store who will have lose hours to make up for that stock loss, idk why they should have to be out of pocket just so shoplifters can eat...

Well that should come from store profits, not taken from staff

Doubt people would steal food just for the fun of it.

Mind, there used to be shoplifters round Gateshead who would purposely steal good meats then sell for half retail price round the bars..dickheads those ones who do it for money. I have no time for that. Those who steal for actual food though, can't really judge. regardless of if the giant corporations take it out on the staff (of course they do..can't have anything affecting the millions in profits) or not. Shouldn't be the case that minimum wage workers effectively get blamed for shoplifters, thats really crappy management tbh

Yeah you can normally tell the type tbh, if they go straight for all the expensive products you know it's just to sell. The ones who do buy some stuff and don't think you notice the bits they "forgot" under their pram I'd just let have it

I don't think she was stealing food to survive.

Looks like she was stealing just because she's a thieving bitch tbh.
