I was once on a bus where the driver legit had a shouting fit wih some random guy. Because the guy said thank you. And seemingly from the argument, the driver was sick to the back teeth of saying 'you're welcome' to people all day..so snapped

Only happened the once though, so seems others either like it, or are just internally eyerolling when everyone says thanks..
