I don't doubt that, but it doesn't make it legal. There is under half the conversation in this memo, and he still asks a foreign leader to look into his political opponents son numerous times.
The fact he uses the attorney general (who works for Americans, not the president) to do this for him is also illegal.
The whistleblowers report was about far more than just the phone call, and we already know that trump has ordered these things to be altered before they're released.
This is the bit they were happy to show us, and it's not good, so the rest of everything should be interesting.
