Thoughts before the lipsync...

I'd assume it's Kat vs. Blu... and that's pretty fair. I know Sum Ting Wong faded against the other 3 in her team but she didn't really do as badly as these two

The Cheryl drama is a bit weird. I might start to feel sorry for her (and the editing is definitely trying to force that) but there is *something* there in her being annoying and extra and fake, and if the rest of the queens (including some who know her before the show) see it, then it's a fair comment. But I just hope this doesn't boil into a Vivi vs. Cheryl season because it'll put a sour note on them </3

Runway-wise, loved: Divina, Vivienne, Scaredy Kat, Crystal, Cheryl
OK: Blu (it...looked clumsy ), Baga, Sum Ting Wong
Crap: Vinegar

Divina was robbed because of the "judging by teams" twist though she did better than Baga IMO and Baga's runway didn't even necessarily fit the theme until she threw the bowler hat a la Oddjob

instead of going through it all im just gonna say some points for each queen

Crystal - I actually liked her more this episode, shes still the dullest one there but I slightly enjoyed her in the acting challenge, and her runway was decent.

Baga Chipz - she killed it in the challenge, absolutely had me dying, her runway was good too, although this is the second week in a row shes taken inspiration from a celebrity, would be nice to see something thats more her.

The Vivienne - still my fave, she did great in the challenge and her runway was alright.

Cheryl Hole - Shes the only one I haven't warmed to yet.. the queens clocked her being a wannabe Alyssa backstage. Her looks are just a bit boring? shes like a Derek Barry but slightly more polished.

Scaredy Kat - I really liked her and I was sad to see her go home. She actually did alright in the lip sync considering it was her first time performing. I'd have liked to see what else she could've brought.

Blu Hydrangea - whenever I say her name I think of that Lana song where shes like "blue hydrangea, cold cash divine". I dont think she really deserved bottom 2? Her acting wasn't THAT bad, and her runway was one of the best imo.. Cheryl should've been bottom over her.

Divina De Campo - She did a lot better this week and I loved her runway look.. but theres something missing and I cant put my finger on it..

Vinegar Strokes - She didnt blow me away with in the challenge or on the runway tbh.. she was lucky to be in the winning team.

Sum Ting Wong - same as Vinegar, lucky to be on the winning team.. her acting wasn't anything amazing but unlike Vinegar, I actually remembered her scenes. Her runway with the bald head was a NO..

I wish they wouldn't do the 'winning team is safe' thing.. because we get queens with potential go home against ones that.. haven't really brought it.

Bit of a crap song though, no real energy to it unless you're a pro lipsyncer.

The West End actor one disappoints me. She's great and likeable but her acting and outfits are... sh*t.

The thing I'm loving the most is the fairly equal airtime distribution and the fact that the editing doesn't essentially spoil who goes home like in the US version. I was certain it would be a Blu or Sum Ting elimination from the workroom parts.
Overall, the challenge was fine but the writing for the challenge wasn't much better than recent season of DR US. The improv challenges are always much better cause the queen aren't constrained to a poorly written script.
Correct bottom 2 I guess, but I feel Kat had a lot more to offer both challenge and storyline wise, I can see Blu going the week after next. Also a mess at her jumping onto her knees being made out to be a big dramatic moment in the lip-sync because they somehow need to make these messes look decent.

BUZZIN for next week, a good old typical design challenge and Twiggy. Quick predictions - Cheryl to either do very well or lipsync and give a great performance (latter more likely). Vinegar, Divina and Baga to struggle, maybe Crytal and Blu doing well?

I really like Cheryl and I think Vivienne is being so extra complaining about her all the time, so what if Cheryl is trying to amp her personality up a bit

Also Vinegar is such a let down, 2nd week running her runway is plain bad. I think she should have gone home actually - considering how hyped up she was she was background in the challenge too.

I don't get the scripted challenges either because they live or die on the lines they're given, not just whether they remember the lines or not.

They should ask them to write their own scenes so then you really see who's good and who's sh*t.

Sum Ting is probably my favourite she's just hilarious, I felt that Kat could of had more to give but part of me thinks she would of done the same looks every week so... Also Crystal's runway was fab! probs one of my all time favourites

It’s starting to feel more like Drag Race than it did the first episode, I’m finally seeing the crossover between the two but obviously it has it’s own lovely British feel to it too.

Little disappointed Kat went but her acting and lip syncing were atrocious, I would’ve liked to have seen what she would’ve done next week in the design challenge though. Baga is by far my least favourite, contrived to the core (also don’t agree with her winning, I thought Divina should’ve won but hey it was judged in groups...). The Cheryl/Vivienne feud is good drama but The Vivienne is not coming across great... she needs to be careful really as the edit is making her look like the one with the issue.

.....it wasn’t that he had worked on the actual Titanic...but he worked for the shipyard that had also built the Titanic...
