I liked Jack and Beth too. When they played as individuals, I wasn’t too fussed on them, but becoming Joyce brought out the best in both of them imo. Jack became less annoying and was actually fairly likeable, and I thought Beth came across well too. Did we watch the same TV show??? , they were terrible as Joyce and they had no idea what they were doing . Even when they were failing in chats & questions they still thought they were "smashing it " LOL how dumb can they get !.

They had absolutely no prep though, all the other catfishes in there had months of time to prepare notes, notepads full of information, they were just thrown in with no knowledge of the age group they were playing.

You are right Mitchell...they had no preparation time and to pretend to be a ‘granny’ figure off the cuff was a hard task. I loved it how they thought they were ‘smashing it’ when in fact they weren’t...they did well and they were a nice couple..

Just re-read my post, you will have to point out the part in which I said that Beth and Jack did a good job at playing Joyce because I can’t find it anywhere.

I said that I enjoyed watching Beth and Jack. One of the reasons was, like you say, because they weren’t doing the best job at playing Joyce, but that contributed to how I enjoyed them because it made me laugh. Just like I enjoyed Katie as she didn’t do the best job at playing Jay but that made me laugh too
